Detailed 7-Day Assam Itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati → Kaziranga National Park

Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and drive to Kaziranga National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Visit Kaziranga Orchid Park and enjoy an evening Bihu dance performance on direct payment basis.  Check in to your stay in Kaziranga.

Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 2: Kaziranga Safari → Majuli Island → Jorhat

Early morning Elephant Safari followed by Jeep Safari in KNP on direct payment basis. Post breakfast, proceed to Majuli Island by ferry at extra cost in Neemati Ghat. Visit Samaguri Satra and Auniati Satra, explore Mishing tribal villages. Drive to Jorhat. Check in to hotel in Jorhat.

Overnight in Jorhat.

Day 3: Jorhat → Sivasagar Heritage Trail

Today, check out from hotel in Jorhat and head out to explore Sivasagar — the Ahom capital. Visit Sivadol Temple, Rang Ghar, Talatal Ghar, and Sivasagar Tank. Later, drive to Sivasagar and check in to hotel.

Overnight in Sivasagar.

Day 4: Sivasagar → Nagaon

Today, check out from hotel in Sivasagar and Drive to Nagaon. Visit Maha Mrityunjay Temple – The largest Shivling in the world and Bordowa Than (birthplace of Srimanta Sankardev). Post sightseing, check in to your stay in Nagaon.

Day 5: Nagaon → Guwahati (via Basistha Temple & Deepor Beel)

Today, check out from hotel in Nagaon and visit Basistha Temple and Deepor Beel (bird sanctuary) on your way to Guwahati. Arrive at Guwahati. Check in to hotel.

Day 6: Kamakhya Temple – Umananda Island – Brahmaputra Cruise

Early in the morning, visit to Kamakhya Temple. After darshan visit Umananda Island via ropeway or boat on direct payment basis and an evening Brahmaputra River Sunset Cruise (Can be arranged at extra cost). Back to hotel.

Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 7: Departure from Guwahati

After breakfast, if time permits, visit Assam State Museum, Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for departure. Tour ends.
