In the afternoon, drive to Belonia (around 2 hours) near the Indo-Bangladesh border to witness the flag-lowering ceremony between the two nations. It is a synchronized daily military display performed by India’s Border Security Force (BSF) and the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) as a friendly version of Wagah symbolising the bilateral cooperation and cultural camaraderie. Return to Agartala by evening.

In 2022, the site was officially added to UNESCO’s Tentative World Heritage List. Later, continue your journey and drive to Silchar through forested hills and tea gardens.
