Detailed Itinerary
Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway station. Direct transfer to Kaziranga. Check in to hotel/homestay in Kaziranga. In the evening visit the Orchidarium nearby and enjoy cultural shows on direct payment basis. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Early morning, wake up to an adventurous Elephant safarai in KNP followed by Jeep Safari on direct payment basis. Later, transfer to Shillong. On the way to Shillong, visit Umiam Lake, Lady Hydari Park & Wards Lake (if time permits). Check in to hotel. Overnight stay in a hotel at Shillong.
After breakfast, start for the day trip to Cherrapunjee. On the way, visit Shillong Peak and then proceed to Elephant Falls before finally leaving for Cherrapunjee-the wettest place on earth where we will be exploring the Mausmai Caves, the Naukalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Ram Krishna Mission. Back to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast, Day trip to Mawlynnong- the cleanest village in Asia. In Mawlynnong, witness the unique balancing rock. Then, we will explore the living single decker and double decker root bridge and the tree house in the Riwai village. Later drive to Dawki & visit Umangkot river (also known as Tamabil in Bangladesh). Back to Shillong and overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast check out from hotel in Shillong and visit Shillong view point and Don Bosco Museum. Drive to Guwahati. Check in to hotel and freshen up.
