Day 01: Arrival - Srinagar Airport
- On your Arrival at Srinagar Airport at 3 PM, IST, we drive past the saffron field of pampore, the marvellous ruins of Avantipura and the village of Bijehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. Check in to hotel in Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 02: Srinagar - Local Sightseeing
- After breakfast at hotel. Later you will proceed for Local Sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens: – Visit Shankar Acharya Temple (built on the top of the mountain overlooking Dal Lake) then visit to Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies) CheshmaShahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa), Dinner & Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 03: Srinagar - Sonamarg - Kargil (201 kms / 4-5 hrs. Drive)
- After breakfast leave for Sonamarg for a Day trip the name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words ”Son” & ”Marg” Which means ”Gold” & ‘‘Meadows’’. When put together it means ”Meadow of Gold” The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the Paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonamarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kms from Sonamarg (own your own expenses). You can also visit Zero point, a local Taxi has to be hired (on your own Expenses). Later Drive to Kargil Dinner & overnight stay in Hotel at Kargil.
Day 04: Kargil – Drive to Leh (220 kms/ 6-7 hours)
- After Breakfast at Hotel start the scenic drive to Leh via Namik La and Fotu La passes. En route attractions: Lamayuru Monastery, Moonland, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Indus-Zanskar Confluence. Evening: Arrive in Leh, check-in at the hotel, and rest for acclimatization. Dinner & overnight stay in Hotel at Leh
Day 05: Leh - Nubra Valley via Khardung La (160 km, 5-6 hours)
- Morning: Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (one of the highest motorable roads in the world). Afternoon: Visit Diskit Monastery and see the Maitreya Buddha statue. Evening: Explore Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy a camel safari (optional). Dinner & Overnight stay in Nubra (Hunder or Diskit)
Day 06: Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake via Shyok (280 kms/ 6-7 hours)
- Morning: Depart for Pangong Lake via Shyok village (a scenic offbeat route). Afternoon: Reach Pangong Lake and enjoy the breathtaking views. Evening: Relax near the lake, witness the sunset, and stargaze. Dinner & Overnight stay in Pangong (campsite or guesthouse).
Day 07: Pangong Lake - Leh via Chang La (230 km, 5-6 hours)
- Morning: Enjoy the sunrise at Pangong Lake and have breakfast. Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. En route attractions: Visit Hemis Monastery or Rancho School (optional). Evening free for leisure time in Leh. Shop at the local market. Dinner & Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 08: Leh - Kargil via Alchi & Likir Monastery (220 km, 6-7 hours)
- Morning: Drive back to Kargil. En route attractions: Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, and Basgo Fort. Evening: Arrive in Kargil, rest, and explore the local market. Dinner & Overnight stay in
Day 09: Kargil - Srinagar via Zoji La & Sonamarg (205 km, 6-7 hours) – Srinagar Houseboat
- Morning: Depart for Srinagar via Zoji La Pass and Sonamarg. En route attractions: Drass (India’s second coldest inhabited place), Kargil War Memorial, and Sonamarg. Afternoon: Reach Srinagar and Dinner & Overnight stay in Houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 10: Departure - Jammu Airport/Railway Station (250 KMS/6 – 7 Hours)
- After Early breakfast at Houseboat you will proceed to Jammu Airport/Railway Station for your onward destination with sweet holiday Memories. Tour ends with memories to cherish forever until you become our #HappyDestinatians again…
